NR Steel is a Charlotte-based structural steel detailing firm serving fabricators across the Southeast — North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Georgia, Tennessee, and West Virginia. The six-state footprint covers the most active construction corridor in the country: the I-85 manufacturing belt from Richmond through Atlanta, the I-40 corridor through Nashville and Knoxville, the coastal distribution centers serving Charleston and Savannah, and the Appalachian manufacturing markets through West Virginia and eastern Tennessee. NR Steel produces Tekla Structures models, NISD-compliant shop drawings, erection plans, anchor bolt plans, and CNC-ready files for both structural and miscellaneous steel. Every deliverable is tuned to the specific fabricator's shop workflow — CNC output format, erection sheet conventions, marking preferences — because drawings are only as useful as they are usable on the shop floor. Connection design is coordinated in-house or with the engineer of record based on how each project team is set up.
